| Michael Evanichko Producer/Writer/Director and Actor |
| Michael was born and raised in Latrobe, PA. in the late 1960's. As soon as inexpensive filmmaking tools (aka VHS camcorders) became available for rent in the mid-80's, Michael was making short films involving beheadings and mentally challenged hospital patients. Yeah, his sickness began at a young age. Michael moved to Columbus, Ohio in the late 80's where he continued to dabble in writing and other creative endeavors such as acting in local film productions, but he didn't seriously jump into filmmaking until the mid 90's, when he discovered Columbus actually had a film scene and he wasn't the only weirdo in town. Michael has written all of his 20+ film productions, and has also written several spec scripts. Writing was the first step he took into the creative process. The next step was acting, and then directing and producing. He loves every aspect of filmmaking. His films have screened in Columbus, Cleveland, California and New York. |
