Trevor looks at Hildy and Rich figures it out.
RICH (CONT'D)

HILDESSA
Not him. You musn't blame him. It was me Annabelle, or Melanie came to for these curses.
Rich runs toward Hildy.
RICH
You murderer!
Trevor grabs him.
TREVOR
Stop! How is she going to help you if she's dead?
HILDESSA
You have to understand, these things don't always work. Melanie's energy orb was very powerful. I merely channeled it.
RICH
Don't act all innocent. You are the cause of this!
Lightening flashes, followed by a clap of thunder.
HILDESSA
I will help you. Please be seated at the table.
They all exit the kitchen area.
CUT TO:
INT. HILDESSA'S HOUSE -- EVENING
They all sit at the table as Hildessa grabs a book and begins to leaf through it.
RICH
Great! You have no fucking idea what you're doing, do you?
TREVOR
We should call someone about Melanie.
RICH
Not until this is done and we are out of here! She's dead anyway, and deserves to be.
HILDESSA
Okay, we made effigies out of wax and attached your hair or a personal article on the effigy.
CATARINA
What's an effigy?
HILDESSA

RICH
You molded us out of wax? I hope you gave mine a big dick.
TREVOR
You don't stop!
RICH
How can I Trevor, huh? Do want me to go completely crazy? Do you want me to lose my fucking mind? I am about to have a breakdown here if I absorb everything that has just happened to me! I mean, I had a dead baby thrown at me for fuck's sake!
Rich has a mini breakdown as he starts to cry. He quickly gets up and leaves the room.
HILDESSA
The effigies were speared with scissors and thrown in Jackson Lake. If you go to them and pull them out of the lake and remove the scissors, the spell will be broken.
TREVOR
You're gonna show us exactly where they are. Let's go.
